This will give you a relaxed journey up to the Fisherman’s Bastion, where you will have a wonderful view of the district of Pest and the Danube. Next door you’ll find the Matthias Church with its two different towers, where Franz Joseph I and his wife, Sisi, were crowned in 1867. The best way to get from Buda to Pest is by walking across the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, the oldest bridge in the city. If you need a quick break, duck into the bar at the Four Seasons, right by the bridge. Once you have had some refreshment, proceed to Erzsébet tér, a huge square where you should take a turn on the Ferris wheel.
